Alila Purnama, one of the most luxurious Phinisi ships in Asia, is offering bespoke private experiences and activities in some of the most pristine waters of the Indian Ocean.
Primarily geared towards honeymooners, couples and adventure aficionados, Alila Purnama, translates as “Full Moon” and is a luxurious liveaboard Phinisi ship, offering expeditions to some of the most spectacular regions of the Indonesian archipelago. The 46-metre-long Alila Purnama consists of three decks and has been handcrafted in the traditional style of a Phinisi, as used by the Bugis seafarers from South Sulawesi in Indonesia. Guests can expect elegant, ultra-modern accommodation for up to ten persons in four double deluxe suites and one master suite. It also features a private deck and large wraparound windows, providing a panoramic view of the vast expanse. Guests can also indulge in a spa session as the vessel comes with a spa therapist on board, or at a nearby beach.
For the adventure seekers, the ship has its own fully licensed PADI dive center, catering to qualified divers. Kayaking, fishing, snorkelling, visiting local islands and pearl farms are among the many other pursuits on offer. When on land, guests opt to relax on beaches or explore island life, taking a walk through villages or tropical rainforests, have varied fauna in their natural habitats.
Several destinations are up for exploration for guests, including Raja Ampat, Maumere – Ambon-(an 11-day/10-night voyage sailing through the Nusa Tenggara Islands) and Ambon – Raja Ampat. Guests can also choose to visit Cenderawasih Bay and Komodo Island.
