BITB: CINEMASCAPES- CINEMA TOURISM SUMMIT

#
18th DECEMBER, 2017
Hotel Novotel Juhu, Mumbai

OVER THE YEARS

Consistently promoting for over a decade, partnering with leading associations and trade bodies in Mumbai's film industry, uniquely among industry events is this bringing together of cinema and tourism, making one grow for the benefit of the other. Held in Mumbai over the years, it has most notably been supported by the prestigious Film and Television Producers Guild of India, and also other leading agencies like ASAP, that brings together advertising agencies engaged in film production, others who are makers of documentaries, short films and more. We present its 12th edition, with the aim of bringing greater interaction between cinema and tourism, with a single minded focus on locations and where next for the filming fraternity, and why? .

The scope of the Summit is twofold. One is the Learning Curve, who shot where and with what experience? Sharing this experience with a larger body of professionals, more like a MasterClass! More specifically, what is the world doing, to successfully lure Indian film producers to their locations. This segment will take stock of the best practices internationally. Leading foreign destinations will make informed presentations. Who is shooting where and why? More specifically, what do they have to offer to India's film industry?.

The other is to bring into sharp focus, the Make in India picture, on select Indian destinations. The Summit will be location-centric, with a fast, racy and contextual format. Where do you shoot next, and why?

Cinema Tourism Summit will bring together an expected 300+ professionals from both tourism and cinema, from both sides of the fence - the location promoters and the filming fraternity in all its verticals.
